2022 - 2023
This year marks transitions, growth and anchoring; building on the successes, reflections and learnings towards a more solid and collective direction and commitment in mobilising resources for feminist power, solidarity and movement-building in the Asia region. A year of navigating the challenging contexts in the region and rising with the ever-changing tide by showing up for feminist movements through a more accessible and flexible funding mechanism and providing and nurturing spaces for connection, collective resistance, care and joy.

In this context of a harsh operating environment, WFA continued to embrace and complete a process of change, regrowth, and renewal. The period from 2021- 2022, a year of transitions, saw a profound exercise of institutional strengthening come to fruition, to better meet the challenges of the day.
